Andy is a multidisciplinary creative who turns ideas into campaigns, experiences and visual stories. His work spans F&B, travel, technology, automotive, consumer brands and government, with recent work across Sentosa and leading beer brands.

Outside of work, he indulges in F1, football and baseball, picks up his camera whenever inspiration strikes, and has developed an obsessive love for photography, videography and creating content purely for the joy of making things. He also spent seven years behind the bar, so he can probably make you a decent drink too.

THE HUMAN BIT

It started with drawing on walls. Then came tattoos, tattooing myself, and somehow, advertising.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR

Senior Art Director · Jul 2021 to Jun 2023
Creative Group Head · Jun 2023 to Present

I joined GOVT as a Senior Art Director to work on Sentosa, helping the destination move from State of Fun into its next chapter, Where discovery never ends. What started with brand work grew into social, events, experiences and destination level campaigns, eventually becoming one of the biggest parts of my career so far.

When the Sentosa tender came around again, I helped repitch for the business and we won it. I had also made a rather questionable bet against myself that if we retained the account, I would tattoo the Sentosa logo on myself. We won. I got the tattoo.

Along the way, I worked on some pretty exciting beer brands, including Asahi, Peroni and local favourite Tiger Beer. I also did my own version of national service through the agency, recreating Singapore's National Anthem films. We made not one, but two. More recently, I was part of the team behind the SG60 campaign, so apparently one round of national service was not enough.
